I’m Similar to Enel in “One Piece” in That We Haven’t Aimed for Pirate King
“One Piece” is very popular with business persons in start-up companies in Japan. In particular, many people try to compare themselves to the character in “One Piece”, or try to compare companies to pirates organization.
Many people compare themselves to someone in Straw Hat Pirates: (e.g.)“I want to become a captain like Luffy” or “I am Vice President like Zoro” or “I want to make a company like Straw Hat Pirates.”
As for me, I’m NOT similar to anyone in Straw Hat Pirates BUT similar to Enel because he hasn’t aimed for Pirate King.
Enel hasn’t aimed for Pirate King in Great Age of Pirates
In “One piece”, Great Age of Pirates has come since Roger’s death. A lot of captains have aimed for Pirate King, and crews have aimed to have their captain Pirate King.
On the other hand, Enel hasn’t aimed for it although he dominated Skypiea, destroyed Angel Island by Raigo, tried to rob Golden Bell. His purpose is to come back to Fairy Vearth.
He didn’t know what Pirate King is because he’d been born in Sky Island. He still seemed not to be interested in it after Luffy explained Pirate King to him. He must not be interested in Pirate King because he has aimed to come back to Fairy Vearth. He has aimed for the dream which has no connection with pirates.
(*)By the way, Enel only made his dream come true among characters who were defeated by Luffy: Krieg, Arlong, Crocodile, Rob Lucci, Doflamingo etc. didn’t make their dreams.
I haven’t aimed to create innovation in Great Age of start-up companies
I have thought “Great Age of start-up companies” have come in the real world. Many people organize “pirates”(Starting a business), or become a follower of “Four Emperors” or “ Seven Warlords of the Sea”(Joining a company). They all aim for “Pirate King”(innovation).
On the other hand, I have aimed NOT for it BUT to come back to Oita prefecture, which is my hometown.(Please read Why I Have Become a Freelancer in Digital Marketing for the details.)
I’m similar to Enel because we hasn’t aimed for the dream which has no connection with “pirates”.
(*)I’m not the villain unlike Enel because I haven’t killed others, destroy islands, dominate others.
